Getting Started

Olympus Trader is a professional DeFi trading platform that integrates with Compound V2 and Uniswap V3. We provide institutional-grade tools for lending, borrowing, and swapping cryptocurrencies in a secure, non-custodial environment. Our platform combines advanced analytics, automated strategies, and real-time monitoring to help you maximize your DeFi returns.

Getting started is simple:
1. Connect your Web3 wallet (MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, etc.)
2. Fund your wallet with ETH or supported tokens
3. Choose your trading strategy (lending, borrowing, or swapping)
4. Execute your first trade

No account creation required! You can start trading immediately with just your wallet.

Register for early access before launch. Once live on mainnet (Q2 2025), you can start trading immediately by connecting your Web3 wallet - no lengthy registration process required. All trades are executed directly through your connected wallet.

Currently, we support:
  • Ethereum Mainnet (Primary)
  • Polygon
  • Arbitrum
More networks will be added based on community demand and protocol availability.

Account & Wallet

We support all major Web3 wallets:
  • MetaMask - Most popular browser wallet
  • Coinbase Wallet - User-friendly option
  • WalletConnect - Connect any mobile wallet
  • Ledger - Hardware wallet for maximum security
  • Tally - Community-owned wallet

Yes! You can connect and switch between multiple wallets at any time. Each wallet will have its own independent portfolio tracking. Our dashboard supports managing multiple wallet addresses seamlessly.

No, never. Olympus Trader is completely non-custodial. We never have access to your private keys or funds. All transactions require your explicit approval through your wallet. Your assets remain under your complete control at all times.

Trading & Fees

Olympus Trader charges a 5% performance fee on profits only. You pay:
  • Performance Fee (5%) - Only charged on profits when you close a position. If you lose money, you pay $0 in platform fees.
  • Ethereum Gas Fees - Network transaction costs (paid to miners, not to us)
  • Protocol Fees - Standard fees from Compound and Uniswap protocols
Early access users may receive special fee discounts!

Transaction speed depends on:
  • Network Congestion - More traffic = slower transactions
  • Gas Price - Higher gas = faster confirmation
Typical transaction times:
  • Fast (high gas): 15-30 seconds
  • Standard (medium gas): 1-3 minutes
  • Slow (low gas): 5-15 minutes
You can track all transactions in real-time on your dashboard.

Slippage is the difference between expected and actual execution price. It occurs due to market movement between transaction submission and confirmation. We recommend:
  • 0.5% slippage for stablecoins
  • 1-3% slippage for major tokens (ETH, WBTC)
  • 3-5% slippage for volatile or low-liquidity tokens
You can adjust slippage tolerance in transaction settings.

You can only cancel transactions that are still pending (not yet confirmed). To cancel, you must submit a new transaction with the same nonce and higher gas price. This is an advanced operation - we recommend waiting for the original transaction to confirm or fail naturally.

Security

Your funds remain in your wallet at all times - we never custody assets. We use:
  • Audited smart contracts from Compound and Uniswap
  • Non-custodial architecture
  • Multi-signature security for platform operations
  • Regular third-party security audits
However, DeFi involves inherent risks. Please read our disclaimer carefully.

Yes! We integrate exclusively with audited protocols:
  • Compound V2 - Audited by OpenZeppelin and Trail of Bits
  • Uniswap V3 - Audited by ABDK and Trail of Bits
Our own platform code undergoes regular security reviews. View all audit reports on our Security page.

We cannot recover your wallet or funds. As a non-custodial platform, only you have access to your private keys. Always:
  • Backup your seed phrase securely
  • Store it offline in multiple secure locations
  • Never share it with anyone (including our team)
  • Consider using a hardware wallet for large amounts

Technical Issues

Try these troubleshooting steps:
  1. Refresh the page and try connecting again
  2. Make sure your wallet extension is unlocked
  3. Check that you're on the correct network (Ethereum Mainnet)
  4. Clear browser cache and cookies
  5. Try a different browser or wallet
  6. Disable VPN or ad blockers temporarily
If issues persist, contact our support team.

Common reasons for failed transactions:
  • Insufficient gas - Increase gas limit
  • Slippage too low - Increase slippage tolerance
  • Insufficient balance - Check you have enough tokens + gas
  • Token approval needed - First approve token spending
  • Network congestion - Try again or increase gas price
You can view detailed error messages on Etherscan.

If your balance appears incorrect:
  • Wait a few minutes - balances update after block confirmation
  • Click the refresh button on your dashboard
  • Check the transaction on Etherscan to verify it succeeded
  • Make sure you're connected to the correct wallet address
  • Try disconnecting and reconnecting your wallet

Pricing & Fees

We only charge a 5% fee on your profits when you close a position. Here's how it works:
  • Profitable trade: If you make $1,000 profit, we take $50 (5%), you keep $950
  • Loss or break-even: If you lose money or break even, you pay $0 in platform fees
The fee is automatically calculated and collected when you close your position. No monthly subscriptions, no upfront costs - we only succeed when you succeed!

No! There are no monthly subscription fees. Olympus Trader uses a performance-based fee model where we only charge 5% of your profits. Everyone has access to all features - there are no premium tiers or paid plans.

Yes! Early access users who register before mainnet launch (Q2 2025) may receive special fee discounts, exclusive rewards, and priority access to new features. Register now to secure your spot!

Protocols

Compound is a decentralized lending protocol where users can supply crypto assets to earn interest or borrow against collateral. Interest rates are determined algorithmically based on supply and demand. It's one of the most established DeFi protocols with over $3 billion in total value locked.

Uniswap is a decentralized exchange (DEX) that allows you to swap any ERC-20 tokens without intermediaries. V3 introduces concentrated liquidity, providing better prices and lower slippage. It's the largest DEX by trading volume, processing billions in trades daily.

Yes! We're actively exploring integrations with other leading DeFi protocols including Aave, Curve, and others. New integrations are added based on security audits, liquidity depth, and community demand. Check our roadmap for upcoming features.
